Scratchee.com Refer a Friend Promotion – Terms & Conditions

Promotion Period: Ongoing, until ended or changed by Scratchee (Last Updated: [DATE])

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase does not increase your Odds of Winning. These Terms sit alongside the Games Master Rules, Official Game Rules and Terms of Service. If they conflict, the Games Master Rules govern gameplay and prizes.

1. Eligibility

1.1 The Refer a Friend program ("Program") is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older, or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater.

1.2 The Program is void in Florida (FL), Louisiana (LA), Michigan (MI), Montana (MT), Nevada (NV), New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY), Washington (WA) and where prohibited.

1.3 The Referrer must be a registered Scratchee member whose account is in good standing.

1.4 The Referee must be a new member who has never previously registered a Scratchee account, and whose identity and payment details can be verified.

1.5 Employees of DGR Media LLC, its affiliates and agencies, and their immediate family and household members, are not eligible.

2. How It Works

2.1 The Referrer shares their unique referral link by SMS, email or social media.

2.2 A referral qualifies ("Qualifying Referral") when the Referee:

  1. Registers a new Scratchee account using the Referrer's unique link; and
  2. Completes their first Access Pack purchase by credit card or bank transfer within 7 days of registering.

2.3 A referral is only credited if the Referee registers through the Referrer's link. Referrals cannot be added or reassigned after registration.

2.4 No purchase is necessary to play. Any eligible member, including a Referee, can obtain a free Scratchee through the Alternate Method of Entry set out in the Games Master Rules (AMOE Mail-In Code). An AMOE entry is not an Access Pack purchase and does not create a Qualifying Referral.


3. Reward Terms

3.1 For each Qualifying Referral, the Referrer and the Referee each receive one complimentary Fast Lane Turbo Scratchee ("Reward"). No Reward is earned for a registration alone, or for an AMOE entry, until the Referee makes a paid Access Pack purchase.

3.2 Rewards are generally credited to both accounts within 12 hours of the Referee's first Access Pack purchase being verified. Crediting may take longer where a referral is under review (see Section 5).

3.3 The Referee can earn one Reward only, on their first Access Pack purchase. The Referrer earns one Reward per Qualifying Referral, up to 10 Rewards per calendar month. Scratchee may, at its discretion, credit Rewards above this limit.

3.4 If a Fast Lane Turbo Scratchee is unavailable, Scratchee may substitute a complimentary Scratchee of equal or greater value.

 

4. Reward Terms

4.1 Rewards are complimentary Scratchees for use on scratchee.com only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred or withdrawn.

4.2 Any prize revealed on a Reward Scratchee is awarded under the Games Master Rules and the Official Game Rules for that game, including prizes and Odds of Winning. Instant payouts are processed under Scratchee's standard withdrawal policy.

4.3 Rewards expire [X] days after being credited if not played.

4.4 If the Referee's qualifying purchase is refunded, charged back or reversed before a Reward is credited, the referral is void and no Reward is issued. Accounts linked to a chargeback may be reviewed under Section 5.

 

5. Fraud & Abuse

5.1 The Program is for personal sharing with people you know. Referrals are monitored using device fingerprinting, IP data and behavioural analysis.

5.2 The following will void a referral and may lead to account suspension:

  1. Referring yourself, including through a second account, email address or device
  2. Using VPNs, emulators or tools that mask identity or location
  3. Using false, stolen or unverifiable personal or payment details
  4. Offering cash, prizes or any incentive in exchange for sign-ups
  5. Paid advertising, coupon or deal sites, or affiliate-style promotion of a referral link, unless approved in writing by Scratchee
  6. Any other attempt to manipulate the Program

5.3 Referrals from the same household, device or network as the Referrer may be disqualified at Scratchee's discretion.

5.4 Scratchee may delay or withhold a Reward while a referral is reviewed, and may require identity verification from the Referrer or Referee before crediting.

5.5 Scratchee's decision on whether a referral qualifies is final.

6. Legal & Taxes

6.1 Scratchee may change, suspend or end the Program, or these Terms, at any time. Rewards already earned before a change will be honoured.

6.2 Participants are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including anti-spam laws, when sharing referral links.

6.3 These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in California.

6.4 Participants are responsible for reporting and paying any taxes on prizes won.
